Dr. Ghavam is a specialist in spine surgery. He holds an M.D. degree with research distinction from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine, along with B.S. and M.S. degrees from Stanford University in Stanford, California. He served as administrative chief resident during his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, a program he completed in 1994. He completed a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the Charlotte Spine Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Ghavam has published numerous papers on orthopaedic conditions of the spine. |
