Biography: Dr. Vandana Maladkar is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with specific training and expertise in the non-surgical treatment of the spine. Dr. Maladkar completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C. and clinical rotations at the renowned National Institute of Health (NIH) and Walter Reed Medical Center. Along with the treatment of neck and back conditions, Dr. Maladkar specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders including acute and chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and myofascial pain. She has extensive training in the performance of eletro (EMG), nerve conduction studies, trigger point injections and botox injections for spasticity. Dr. Maladkar is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitaion.
