APRIL 2010
Week 3

Morgan Schultz – Huntsville High School
4.25 GPA
Sports: Cheerleading
Morgan Shultz joins the list of outstanding student-athletes walking the halls of Huntsville High School. Some might argue that she’s leading the pack. Five “Honors” classes and two “AP” classes fill her already demanding schedule, but she still manages to carry a straight “A” report card. Morgan takes command of her grades the same way she takes command of the cheerleading squad at Huntsville High. Her individual accolades earned her the right to be captain of her squad. From one team, to several others, Morgan splits her time with nearly ten different school academic and community groups. This future leader of America has also given her time to tutoring other students, as well as various groups dealing with the homeless and needy. Morgan still manages to save some time for her church and youth ministry. The list goes on and on for this young lady. Congratulations, Morgan!
Week 4

Blake Gray - Huntsville High School
3.7 GPA
Sports: Basketball
It’s easy to overuse the title, “trendsetter”. But, there is no better word to describe Blake Gray of Huntsville High School. When Blake was picked to be the team captain for his freshman, junior varsity and varsity basketball teams, he was setting a trend as a leader. Blake continued to set that trend as a four year letterman and being awarded the Huntsville High School Bob Warden Memorial Award for Scholarship, Dedication and Integrity. He’s no stranger to academic achievement, either. Blake carries a 3.7 GPA while staying involved in his Spanish and Chemistry club. As a member of the First Baptist Church, Blake puts in a lot of time helping others. Whether it’s coaching a rec league basketball team or helping to build houses for the elderly, Blake knows what it means to give. Congratulations, Blake!
