Brian R. Carter, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Carter specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Florida State University and received an M.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Carter completed his residency in Physical Medicine a the University of Virginia where he served as chief resident, then joined the Non-Surgical Orthopaedic and Spine Center in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Carter specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of soft tissue, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders including neck and back pain, sciatica, disc herniation, spondylosis, shoulder and knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, sports injuries, workers comp injuries and general rehabilitation. He received specialized training in the performance of EMGs, nerve conduction studies and spinal injections. Dr. Carter is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Physiatric Association of Sports, spine and Occupational Rehabilitation. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.Memberships
