Gilbert M. Aust, M.D.

Biography

Dr. Aust is a specialist in disorders of the lower back. His goal is to help patients understand their medical problem and the many ways in which it may be treated. He offers a full range of diagnostic treatment modalities including, when appropriate, a full range of the latest surgical techniques for the lower back. Dr. Aust graduated from The University of South Alabama Medical School and completed his Orthopaedic training at The Campbell Clinic, University of Tennessee Medical Campus in Memphis, Tennessee. He founded and was actively involved for many years in Endius, Incorporated, a minimally invasive spine company located in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Dr. Aust has made many presentations on minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques and holds numerous medical device patents.
