Position:  Nurse (LPN/RN) or MA (FT)
Location: Madison & Huntsville locations
Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Nursing & MA experience preferred
  • Perform general nursing duties
  • Rooming patients; input patient clinical information into EHR
  • Perform general clinical/nursing duties
  • Drawing up meds; calling in medications
  • Schedule physician referrals
  • Schedule appointments, tests/procedures and precert
  • Prepare exam rooms; restock supplies for clinic, power up computers, etc.
  • Respond to patient messages and document in HER
  • Assist other physician team members as needed
  • Fill out disability, return-to-work and insurance forms
  • Obtain physician signature on miscellaneous forms
  • Prepare charts for clinic and print out patient information as requested by physician
  • Friendly and professional patient communication

Must also possess:

  • Active un-encumbered LPN license
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

Position:  MA (FT; 40 hrs/wk)
Location:  Huntsville & Madison, with occasional satellite locations
Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Perform general nursing duties
  • Perform suture/staple removal
  • Perform wound care/dressing changes
  • Drawing up meds; calling in medications
  • Application of sterile fields
  • Applying and removing casts and splints and fitting of orthotics
  • Locate any necessary films, test results, and/or reports for upcoming appointments
  • Schedule and precert tests, procedures and surgeries
  • Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers, etc.
  • Prepare charts for clinic and print out patient information as requested by physician
  • Assist other physician team members as needed
  • Fill out disability, return-to-work and insurance forms

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Answer billing calls from patients and assist with account resolution
  • Assist patients with care credit application and installment plans
  • Knowledge of CPT codes and charges preferred
  • Ability to communicate well with patients, physicians and staff
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Positive “teamwork” attitude
  • Ability to master the SystemedX computer system
  • Ability to utilize software applications to process claims, research statements, research accounts
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
  • Minimum two years AR experience required/preferred

  • Post Insurance denials/zero payments
  • Answer billing calls from patients and assist with account resolution
