Position:  Front Desk Receptionist Full Time
Office Location:  Huntsville South
Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Greet and assist with check-in duties of all patients presenting for appointments at the Huntsville South location
  • Check-out patients, to include scheduling appointments and collecting co-payments
  • Registration of patient demographics
  • Scan all documents associated with registration completion into patient charts
  • Verifying insurance
  • Answering phones, including scheduling appointments
  • Proficiency in operating systems
  • Assist other offices with coverage issues when needed
  • Must have the motivation to work under pressure
  • Must possess pleasant, friendly demeanor, with ability to work independently
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and co-workers
  • Positive, “teamwork” attitude
  • Ability to multi-task in busy environment
  • Any other tasks as assigned

Position:  Medical Assistant (FT; 40 hrs/wk)
Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Check out patients and schedule return appointments
  • Schedule PT or other various procedures and testing
  • Schedule surgeries
  • Verifying and precert insurances for surgery and other procedures/tests
  • Complete Work Restriction forms
  • Assist with calling patients to exam room
  • Assist with general nursing duties (ie. suture removal, dressing changes)
  • Assist with patient questions
  • Assist with telephone calls
  • Assist other team members as needed

Must also possess:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
  • Independent, highly motivated
  • Exhibit initiative and self-discipline
  • Proven positive, “teamwork” attitude and work history
