Position:  Front desk/scheduler
Office Location:   Madison PT Office
Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Greet and assist with check-in and check-out duties of all patients presenting for appointments
  • Registration of patient demographics
  • Scheduling patients in person and via telephone
  • Scan all documents associated with registration completion into patient charts in Systemedx
  • Verifying insurance eligibility
  • Proficiency in operating system; Systemedx
  • Collecting payments, maintaining petty cash drawer, making bank deposit
  • Must have the motivation to work under pressure
  • Must possess pleasant, friendly demeanor
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and co-workers
  • Positive, “teamwork” attitude
  • Any other tasks as assigned

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of data entry and Excel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position:  RT/MA (FT; 40 hrs/wk)
Location: Huntsville & Madison
Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Perform x-rays
  • Perform general nursing duties
  • Perform suture/staple removal
  • Perform wound care/dressing changes
  • Drawing up meds; calling in medications
  • Applying and removing casts and splints and fitting of orthotics
  • Locate any necessary films, test results, and/or reports for upcoming appointments
  • Schedule tests/procedures, precert as needed
  • Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers, etc.
  • Prepare charts for clinic and print out patient information as requested by physician
  • Assist with verifying pre-op labs and scheduling surgery clearances as needed
  • Assist other physician team members as needed
  • Assist with scheduling tests/procedures, precert as needed
  • Fill out disability, return-to-work and insurance forms
  • Obtain physician signature on miscellaneous forms
  • Friendly and Professional patient communication
    • Answering and returning patient phone calls
    • Procedure education
    • Escorting patients to and from exam rooms
    • Appointment reminder calls
    • Respond to and chart patient messages
    • Communicate test results to patients

Must also possess:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff

Office Location:   ATHENS OFFICE
Responsibilities/Requirements:

Position:  Communications Specialist (Full-Time; 40 hrs/wk)
Location:  Lowe Office
Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls to the call center
  • Direct calls appropriately
  • Schedule appointments according to physician profiles
  • Some insurance/billing experience, however not a requirement
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written for clear, legible messages
  • Pleasant, friendly demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and all incoming callers

Position: Supply Tech (FT; 30hrs/wk)

Responsibilities/Requirements:
Order, stock and maintain medical supplies for all TOC locations. Communicate with doctors, therapists, coordinators and staff about items needed and tasks to be solved. Follow the direction and instruction of TOC Supply Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supply ordering, organizing, stocking and maintaining:
    • Multiple supply closets
    • Procedure room
    • Cast rooms
    • Office supply cabinet
    • Break rooms
    • TOC printed materials
    • Team instruments (after approval)
    • Satellite offices
    • Visco Injections
  • Review, research and request approval for team’s special requests
  • Edit and approve orders through multiple online portals and vendors
  • Receiving and delivery of all packages
  • Schedule and monitor annual equipment inspections, all locations
  • Run and maintain autoclaves daily/as needed

Must also possess:

Position:  Financial Counselor
Office Location: TOC Athens Facility
Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Answer billing calls from patients and assist with account resolution
  • Assist patients with care credit application and installment plans
  • Knowledge of CPT codes and charges preferred
  • Ability to communicate well with patients, physicians and staff
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Positive “teamwork” attitude
  • Ability to master the SystemedX computer system
  • Ability to utilize software applications to process claims, research statements, research accounts
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
  • Minimum two years AR experience required/preferred
