Brian R. Carter, MD

Biography

Dr. Carter specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Florida State University and received an M.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Carter completed his residency in Physical Medicine at the University of Virginia where he served as chief resident. He then completed an Interventional Spine fellowship at the Non-Surgical Orthopaedic and Spine Center in Marietta, Georgia.

Dr. Carter specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of soft tissue, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders including neck and back pain, sciatica, disc herniation, spondylosis, shoulder and knee pain, concussions, sports injuries, workers comp injuries and general rehabilitation. He performs Independent Medical Evaluations and Permanent Partial Impairment Evaluations. He has received specialized training in joint, soft tissue, and spinal injections.

Dr. Carter is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Carter serves as the current Medical Director for TOC Therapy Services and Industrial Rehabilitation Services.
