David A. Kyle, DPM

Biography

Dr. David Kyle is an Andalusia, Alabama native and graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science. He earned his podiatric medical degree from the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Kyle then completed his surgical residency in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served as chief surgical resident at the University of Louisville and KentuckyOne Health, Podiatric Surgical Residency Program.

Dr. Kyle has extensive experience in podiatric surgical and non-surgical treatment, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care. He served as the Medical Director of the University of Louisville Wound Program, creating a diabetic limb salvage network and becoming a leader in his field and community in wound care, resulting in requests for national consulting and speaking engagements. Dr. Kyle is also proficient in elective and reconstructive foot surgery, including the revolutionary new Lapiplasty 3D bunion correction. He is the only surgeon in Huntsville who performs the Lapiplasty procedure.

Dr. Kyle is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Kyle lives in Huntsville with his wife Maggee and two daughters, Lillian and Hattie. He travels to numerous TOC locations all over north Alabama providing care to several different communities. He is very active with his church, and in his spare time, he loves golfing, snow skiing, and traveling with his family.
