Biography

Joe is a staff physical therapist for the TOC therapy Center in Madison. Joe comes from Binghamton, a small city in upstate New York. He received his Masters in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and following graduation was certified to practice physical therapy in the state of South Carolina. Joe then went on to become the Director of Physical Therapy services for SECO Physical Therapy in Upstate New York. He then decided to join the TOC Therapy team, where he currently practices. Prior to graduation of the Physical Therapist program, Joe worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in NY for many years. He as employment experience in Physical Therapy with emphasis in treating orthopedic, industrial and sports related injuries. Joe became a physical therapist after being exposed to physical therapy following a family member’s injury. He saw the impact physical therapy played in rehabilitation and realized that is what he would do with his life. Joe has been able to further his education in the Physical Therapy field by attending continuing education courses which have included: Extremity Evaluation and Manipulation, Manipulation of the Cervical and Thoracic spines, Manipulation of the Lumbar and Sacroiliac spines, Best practices in Orthopedics conference, Cervical Spine and Cervicogenic headaches Evaluation and Treatment, MT-1 Basic Peripheral seminar and Evaluation of the Knee and Shoulder.

Joe believes in a more personalized, hands-on approach to helping those who suffer from disabilities or injuries return to functional or pre-injury levels. He takes pleasure from working with each patient individually an instituting his/her tailored treatment program.
