Sudhakar G. Madanagopal, MD

Biography

Dr. Madanagopal, also known as “Dr. Su,” is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of The Orthopaedic Center (TOC) Joint Replacement and Trauma Centers of Excellence. Previously Dr. Madanagopal served as Associate Professor and Director of Orthopaedic Trauma and Adult Reconstruction for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL. He was also Joint Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies and a Clinical Instructor at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. His fellowships include Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Trauma, and Adult Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Madanagopal completed residencies in preliminary surgery and orthopaedic surgery in Connecticut and India. He has served on committees and was awarded The Mitchell Medical Scholars Program Award from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. Dr. Madanagopal’s studies have appeared in publications including the American Journal of Orthopaedics, Journal of Sports Science and Medicine, and Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research.
