May is Arthritis Awareness Month

More than 50 million Americans are living with arthritis. Nearly 2 million of them live in the state of Alabama. Most people believe that arthritis is just one disease, but the reality is that there are over 100 types of arthritis.

While many people with arthritis can live a relatively healthy and normal life, those with more advanced cases often struggle with everyday tasks. In addition, arthritis affects people of all ages, including around 300,000 children.

The Arthritis Foundation has published a FREE e-book, Coping & Comfort: Advice from the Arthritis Community, with tips, words of wisdom, and encouraging thoughts from others with arthritis and how they cope with and overcome their daily challenges.

By taking the following precautionary measures, it is our goal to maintain patients’ safety while providing the highest level of care:

TOC will continue to carry out our mission of being accessible with the safety of our employees and patients at the forefront of our minds.

Thank you for your trust, and we look forward to seeing you!
